Standard For Purchasing Children's Bicycles

May 1st Standard
In November 2011, in order to help more parents choose baby strollers, the World Baby Bike Industry's hardcover aircraft carrier Sanhe Shun once again proposed the "May 1st Standard" for purchasing baby strollers (with a focus on children's bicycles): carry, touch, scratch, take a look, and ride.
Pick it up
Pick it up, feel and judge the weight of the stroller. The weight of a stroller is mainly determined by the thickness of the steel pipe on the frame. To some extent, the heavier the stroller, the more stable it is, which means it is safer.
Touch it
Touch the surface: Touch the surface of the stroller to see if there are any sharp tips, edges, or protrusions that children's hands and legs may touch.
Give a scrape
Scratch coating: Use a nail to scrape the coating, and check if there is any obvious peeling phenomenon on the surface coating.
Scrape the decal: Use your nails to scrape the decal, and check if there is any obvious peeling of the surface decal.
Take a look
Take a look at the enterprise: Look at the enterprise history, development scale, economic strength, and brand personality of the purchased brand, while also considering its market share and product reputation.
Take a look at the components: Check if the stroller chain cover covers the outer surface and edges of the chain, sprocket, flywheel, and the inner surface of the chain and sprocket engagement. If these areas are not covered, children's fingers can be reached and touched, which may crush the children's fingers and cause injury.
Take a look at the welding points: Check if the surface of the welding points on the stroller is flat, and if there are defects such as cracks, burning through, or incomplete welding.
Ride a ride
Ride and feel fit: feel if the size of the stroller is suitable for your child. Especially if the size of the brake handle is not suitable, it may cause children to not grip the brake handle tightly, and the car cannot be braked during cycling, which is prone to accidents.
Ride and feel firm: feel if the welding and saddle parts of the stroller have sufficient support.
Ride and feel flexibility: feel if the various rotating parts of the stroller are working flexibly.
Ride and feel the tightness: feel if there is relative rotation between the handlebars and the horizontal pipes of the stroller. If the combination is not tight, children may experience accidents when riding bicycles due to the grip slipping and being difficult to manipulate.
