What Is A Mountain Bike

The mountain bike project is a small part of the bicycle project. During the competition, all athletes start collectively from the starting line and are ranked in the order in which they reach the finish line. 
Mountain bikes originated in the United States and were modified from regular bicycles by Scott, a student at the University of California in the United States. In 1991, the Mountain Cycling World Cup was held for the first time in San Francisco, USA. In 1996, it became an official event of the Olympic Games. 
The highest organization of road cycling is the International Cycling Union, established on April 15, 1900, with its headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland. The highest organizational structure in China is the China Cycling Association, established in Beijing in 1959.
